Here's a photo of that memorial you mentioned. That's Al Fagan - I forgot the name of the street just north of McKee - where Magicomo's fruit market was.

Thanks for the "monumental" picture.... I remember a Harold Fagan whose Mother owned/worked at the Northway Restaurant. We called her Tinsel I think because of the colour of her hair. Anyway, Harold used to race his stock car up at Pinecrest Speedway on Hwy 7. Cliff Fielding and I would go up on Saturday nights with his Dad and watch the races. He went on to become part of the pit crew in the big races in the US. I think he became quite famous in the stock car race world. By the way, does anybody remember the our Brother Bill....when he visited back in the '60's with June and family... and drove that beautiful old Chrysler down from Alberta..... went up to Pinecrest with us one Saturday night. He told the guys there that he called the stock car races back home so they got him up to call a race!.... quite exciting.
